MY WINTER “MUST SEE” MOVIE LIST

Hey guys,

How’s 2018 going so far? I know its too early to ask but Mark Zuckerberg has already made FOUR BILLION dollars and January hasn’t even gone halfway!!! At this point I’m like hit your girl with the plug already????

Anyways, today I’ll be sharing movies on my “must-see” list and it will be divided in two categories; the before Christmas and after Christmas/January releases.

BEFORE CHRISTMAS

1. JUMANJI: WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE

I’m so excited to see this movie even though I’ve gotten one bad review already about it but I’m just curious to see if it tops the 1995 classic with the late Robbie Williams. It features Kevin Hart, The Rock, Karen Gillan and Jack Black,

Release date: December 20, 2017

2. THE POST

Definitely an Oscar award winning movie and it was directed by the one and only Spielberg. Its a drama based on the fight by the Washington post in 1971 to acquire rights to publish classified information. The cast is an impeccable one with Hollywood legendary icons, Meryl Streep and Tom Hanks.

Release date: December 22, 2017

3. THE GREATEST SHOWMAN

Now, I’m not really crazy about musicals but I saw Hugh Jackman in les miserable and I kinda enjoyed so I know this movie here would be magic especially with the addition of Zendaya and Zac Efron. the movie is all about the life of a circus founder P.T. Barnum and the thrill of performing.

Release date: Dec 25, 2017

AFTER CHRISTMAS

1. THE COMMUTER

So if you haven’t seen the “Taken” movies or any movie featuring Liam Neeson or the “I will find you” meme, I have one question for you, what rock are you living under??? After watching the trailer, I was shooook and I can’t wait to see if he saves the day, well typically he will but lets keep the suspense going. Imagine meeting a stranger on a train and she tells you that you’re going to get a huge amount of money if you can figure out who doesn’t belong on the train before the next stop.

Release date: January 12, 2018

2. PROUD MARY

Taraji as a hit woman!!! I don’t need to say more and its high time we saw a woman of color in an action movie.

Release date: January 12, 2018

3. DEN OF THIEVES

An almost impossible heist on a Federal Reserve Bank with the likes of Gerard Butler. 50 cents, , Pablo Schreiber, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Evan Jones, Dawn Olivieri, Mo McRae, and Max Holloway. This action/thriller is definitely one to watch.

Release date: January 19, 2018
