Eating Clean 101: Smoothie recipes

Hi everyone,

I don’t know about you guys but to me, it’s a usual indication at the start of a new year or a reconciliation with your midsection after a long break to start eating clean & healthy but we all know how that goes right?? I’ve always integrated weight loss with clean eating and most times fallen off the wagon, so this year I’ve decided to take being healthy as a habit and make it fun.

I would define smoothies as a blend of various natural fruits and vegetables with a variety of healthy options for a liquid base; personally, I stick with water(ice)/tea but you can try milk (whole, skim, almond), yogurt, freshly squeezed juice (and I don’t mean from a box or gallon sold in a store).

Benefits:

  • Highly nutritious
  • You know what’s in it because you made it
  • It can serve as a healthy breakfast
  • Packed full of vitamins

Now to share some recipes I’ve tried.

P.s I just mix and match stuff LOL but they turn out yum!!!
